STAMP IT! The UFC is Overrated

If you are any bit of a sports fan you probably were aware that UFC 205 was this weekend at Madison Square Garden. Everyone's favorite villain Conor McGregor head lined the main event with his rematch versus Eddie Alvarez. there were a few other fights leading up to McGregor Alvarez as well. I was at my buddy's place this weekend and everyone was jacked up for the fight. Like really jacked up. I've never been a UFC guy at all, in fact I was always against it, just has never appealed to me. But I had never seen McGregor actually fight, only heard his big mouth, so i was like you know what, I'ma give this a shot, see what the hype is.

Oh sorry fell asleep writing this blog thinking about the fights. Talk about a SNOOZE FEST. I mean the UFC STINKS! It's so boring! They don't do anything! They literally dance around for 75% of the bout, throw a couple punches, then take it to the ground and grope each other. And before you do what every UFC fan does and hop down my throat about how hard it is and how I would die if I got in the ring you are absoultely correct. I am not taking anything away from the athleticism of the athletes, I'm taking away from the product. I mean call me crazy but I'm not a huge fan of two humans brawling in puddles of blood, just not my cup of tea. Side note, can't imagine how their faces feel the next day. The chick who won had a lump the size of a grapefruit on the side of her head, no way does that feel good on Sunday. It's gotta be like the worst hangover ever times 100 just a complete body death feeling. I don't understand how you get into UFC, or boxing either. I mean you are willingly letting people punch and KICK you in the head. Like what?!?! Why would you ever wanna participate in that? I guess I'm just not as manly as I thought.

There's also just no pizzazz to it. It's all ground and pound, there's no flea flickers or toe drags or web gems. It's just punches, kicks, and grapples. I need some flare in my sporting events, not just toughness. Conor McGregor is also the worst. This may be surprising to you cause if you know Keno Radio you know I LOVE athletes who have fun and are cocky and have some swagger, but McGregor takes it to another level to the point where it's just awkward. Like dude you're a UFC fighter, you're in a second tier sport shut up. It's the same thing as Floyd Mayweather, you get some hype for a week before your fight then everyone forgets about you again, you can't be that cocky. At least Mayweather has never lost, McGregor has 3 losses, not allowed to act the way he does with 3 losses.

At the end of the day the UFC is just not even close to the big 4 major leagues. Everyone pretends to love it for the weekend but forgets about it the rest of the year. Yes it's something different but boy is it a snooze. Without further ado, UFC: STAMPED! Overrated!

Also, pay per view is so dumb. Never worth the money.

Also, also, Starting the first of 4 fights at 8 EST is NUTS! McGregor not fighting til 12:45 is PREPOSTEROUS, gotta figure that one out
