I'm Sick of College Athletes Complaining About Not Getting Paid

Nigel Hayes has made the latest splash in the sporting world in regards to complaining about being broke and student-athletes not getting paid. I gotta give it to him, A+ sign by Nigel, got a good chuckle outta it, but I for one am sick and tired of college athletes complaining about not getting paid.

Ima start off by saying I get it. I get the argument that student athletes should get paid. Football and basketball programs bring millions and millions of dollars in to universities because of the student-athletes but the kids don't get a penny in return. I understand the argument but I'm here to say no more! I don't wanna hear it! And before I go any further I wanna let it be known that I am in no way in favor of the NCAA. The NCAA is the complete opposite of Keno Radio and the most anti-fun establishment other than the No Fun League (NFL lol) Captain Fun does not approve.

WITH THAT SAID, I am SICK of hearing student-athletes complain about not getting paid. What don't they understand about the fact that they are amateurs and students? There's a reason there is professional sports and collegiate sports. If you are good enough you'll become a professional which will result in getting compensated for your talents. Until then you're a student and you don't get paid to play. That's it. End of discussion. At what point did someone decide getting a FREE COLLEGE DEGREE wasn't enough? Even if you don't think the education means something, it still frees you up from 10 years of debt that you're gonna have like the rest of us college grads. I also don't really get the "broke" angle all these kids are going with. You're a college kid obviously you're broke, we all were. I was rocking 200 bucks in my bank account for 4 years. If you're that broke be a crossing guard like ya boy was, couple hours a week, keeps you afloat. And what do all these athletes need to spend money on? You're a college kid you don't have any expenses, especially when at most schools the athletes live on campus for 4 years and have room and board covered. And if all that's not enough and you still think you aren't being appreciated than quit and be like the rest of us. Instead of thinking the world's out to get you, take a second and think how dope it is that you get to play a sport in college, something a lot of us would have LOVED to do for free.
