The Turtle Is Finally Gone!

Just heard the news that former Bruin Dennis "The Turtle" Seidenberg has signed with the Islanders. 1 year 1 mill. It's about damn time! Seidenberg was the worst. For some reason people were really high up on the guy because he was so "fundamentally sound" and played "solid defense". Big whoop, guy was the definition of a snooze fest and was the ultimate example of the boring, over-defensive, under-offensive Bruins teams. 39 goals in 758 career games just doesn't do it for me. He was slow and a turnover machine. Yeah the B's won the cup in 2011 and Seidenberg was a part of that solid d-core, but that only worked for that short blip of time. We've seen the B's absolutely crumble the last 2 seasons playing that same style. It's time to shake things up and bring in a more offensive style to the Hub and that starts with The Turtle being gonezo. (Locking up Marchy for 8 years also helps, absolutely LOVE that signing.)

Also, the B's are paying more for Seidenberg to play for the Islanders than the Islanders are paying Seidenberg to play for the Islanders, just something to think about. Atta be front office.
