NFL week 2 officially in the books so here we go, 3 things I know:
1. Jimmy G took his final snap in a Patriot uniform. Oh what a fun ride it was. Jimmy G, the future of the New England Patriots, finally gets his chance to shine and show the world what he's learned from studying behind the greatest quarterback to ever live. Has a great 6 quarters but it all comes to a crashing halt because he must've forgot TB12's number 1 rule: don't get hit. The reason tommy's played so long is cause he doesn't take hits. Jimmy G tries to extend the play, leaves himself unprotected and boom he's out with a shoulder injury. Now with a short week this week, we're gunna give the nod to my bot Jacoby Brissett, which leaves Jimmy G with 1 game left before TB12 is back from suspension. What we've seen from Jimmy G has been beyond anyone's expectations, so if you think Bill is gonna play Jimmy week 4 and jeopardize his trade value you are a dink. Let other teams think he's great, we trade Jimmy G for a lineman by week 8, stamp it. Sorry Jimbo don't cry becaue it's over, smile because it happened.
2. RGIII will NOT win MVP this year, solid chance he does next year. So if you read last weeks 3TIK, I predicted RGIII to reverse the QB curse in Cleveland and win MVP this year. I am officially putting that thought on hold due to RGIII being out 10-12 weeks with a shoulder injury. However, let me make this clear: at some point RGIII will win an MVP in a Browns uniform, that is a promise. Until then, all aboard the Josh McCown train. How bout RGIII though, dude just can't catch a break, getting hurt week 1 of you're comeback tour because you repeated the same mistake you constantly did in Washington is the most RGIII thing of all time. Also, Josh McCown had a great press conference after last weeks game, talk about grit.
3. Danny Woodhead, 2017 Comeback Player of the Year, New England Patriots. Danny Woodhead went down with a torn MCL and is donezo for the season. On the last year of his contract as a 32 year old, his time in San Diego is all but over. Look no further than the Pats, the team that invented Woodhead, the little nobody out of a nowhere school who burst on to the scene because he fit the Pats program to a T. Tough, selfless, and do anything to win. However this made him a highly touted FA and when the Chargies wanted to pay up he took it. Fast forward to March 2017, woodhead coming off another injury, not many teams interested. Cue the Pats to come in and pick him up for a bargain and watch him take home the hardware. He knows the system and he knows what it takes to be a Patriot. This isn't even an opinion, it's a scientific fact.
