Reports have come out that my boy Johnny Football has re-enrolled himself back at Texas A&M for the fall semester and all I have to say is what a genius. I mean this is the ultimate move for Johnny on so many levels. Let's break it down. First off he's obviously had a rough couple months since last season ended. Drug addiction, domestic assault cases, among other things. What better way to say hey everyone look at me I'm maturing, I'm getting my act together and going back to school to finish my degree. This is a classic move that all respected athletes do, so good looks on his part for that. Now if he throws in a "it was always my moms dream for me to graduate college" he's golden.
Secondly, any time your going through a rough period, you always want to go back to the basics, go back to a place where you excelled and find yourself. For Johnny, that place was College Station. Dude was a LEGEND there. First freshman to ever win a Heisman and becoming one of the all time CFB greats, there's no better place for him to restart his life than the place where he ran through more tail than Charlie Sheen.
And lastly, the reason why I LOVE this move is its an all time Captain Fun move. Johnny loved college as much as the next guy, so as soon as he finally realized, woah this real world nonsense kinda sucks after all, he just said funk it, I'm heading back to college to relive the glory days. Just an absolutely brilliant move by Johnny. Looking back now I don't know why I didn't leave UMass like 6 credits short so I always had them in my back pocket. Life starts to get a little too much for you, just take an 8 month vacation in Amherst. Great move for you to go back to the greatest place ever, as well as looking like your actually doing something with your life by finishing up your degree. Legit brilliancy.
Also, If Johnny doesn't TEAR it up in intramurals he is an IDIOT. Above anything else this is why I would go back if I was him, just absolutely light the field on fire in flag football, get a million YouTube views, rebuild his stock, and boom he's behind center in the NFL again.
Also, also a star athlete like myself never winning an intramural championship is by far my biggest disappointment in my college career. Sure I won back to back Veterans Day Memorial Beer Pong Tournaments, but the elusive intramural title will always haunt me. Legit think about it once a week.
