Johnny Bananas is the Ultimate Villain

Last night Johnny Bananas won his record SIXTH Challenge solidifying him as the greatest Challenge competitor we will ever see. No one has more than 3 victories, and with the way the last few seasons have gone, we will never see another person even sniff Bananas record. We all know Bananas is the goat so him and Sarah cruising to yet another final was nothing new. However it was the moment when TJ announced the most important twist in Challenge history that led to Bananas becoming one of televisions greatest villains of all time.

We all know Bananas shady past and his cut throat mentality, but when TJ said the partner with the most points has the choice to take all the money or split it I don't think anyone thought Bananas would do the unthinkable. But who are we kidding you don't become the goat by being a good guy, so in natural Bananas fashion he took the full $275k and said CYA DINK to Sarah who now has to pay for grad school herself instead of from the help of Bunim/Murray.

Can you really blame Bananas though? The dudes made a killing off this show and the only way you can do that is to be a total dick and not care whatsoever about anyone else. People get caught up in how bad of a guy he is for continuously pulling stunts like this but at the end of the day he's smart enough to realize it is just a game show on MTV so he's cashing in on it every chance he gets. Would I have done this same thing? Probably not but he's living the KR dream of doing as little as possible for the most money as possible and if he has to break a few hearts and crush a few souls along the way so be it. If nothing else you gotta applaud the guy for being able to make a living by jumping off buildings and eating cow balls.

So just like that another mediocre season of The Challenge is in the bag, definitely better than Bloodlines, but still no where near where it used to be. After a tough start to the season which saw injuries (Leroy), quitters (Brandon), and insanity (Camila & Tony) send many of the athletes home, Bananas and Sarah rekindled their friendship and DOMINATED, only to have Bananas rip Sarah's heart out in the greatest moment of television history. We also saw Team Princess make a Cinderella run that even George Mason could tip their hat to and Nany crawl around in sand one final time. All we can hope now is that Bananas comes back to get his 7th title and CT comes outta retirement so they can show these children what a real Challenge looks like. See you in Seattle for RW32!
